Something Fish-y Going on in Allston Today
The Boston Globe recently reported that Boston 2024 is trying to address some of its “early mistakes.” However, Boston 2024’s fundamental mistake cannot be corrected: submitting a bid without the consent of the people of Boston.
Boston 2024 may have now managed to go a week without telling people to be inspired by Nazi propaganda, but they are not having their much hoped-for media “comeback.” And we need to continue to make sure that they do not.
So join us tomorrow at the next of Mayor Marty Walsh’s Olympic community meetings to make clear to Mayor Walsh and Boston 2024 that the only way that they can fix their “early mistakes” is to pull the bid.
